Professionalism in a Restuarant
The first restaurant my family and I went to when I got back was Krystals. No one was in line and we stood there for about 10 minutes, before anyone said anything to us. Finally a young male employee, said someone will be with you in a minute. I thought that this indicated that he didn't work the cash register and that someone else would have to wait on us. Finally, he came to the cash register and asked for our order. He was nice and professional and brought us our food out to our table when it was ready, but come on what was the wait about, especially when what he was doing didn't seem to have to be done right then. Customers first. Also while we were there, there was a young female employee sitting at one of the tables eating. She had her uniform on, that's how I know she was an employee. When I worked in restaurant years ago, we were not aloud to sit at the tables in our uniforms. They said it did not look right. So in my opinion, that is unprofessional.
