I bought paint to repaint this sign over a year ago. Today the job finally got finished. I helped my future son-in-law brush the rust and fungus or whatever was growing on it before the library opened. Then he spray painted it. It took a while. I bought him lunch for doing the job for me. I think it looks good now. Trying to get the small things accomplished. I've already got a list of things to discuss with the board when we meet again.
Before I got the sign sanded and painted,, I had to get a friend to re-weld some of the letters on the sign.
